AI quoting engine
The enquiry arrives already priced, at any hour, by your own rules.
A public configurator that runs your real costing rules, so a customer designs the job, sees the price, and sends you an enquiry that is already a quote.
Built with Next.js, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare.
The situation you are probably in
Every quote waits for the one person who knows the pricing. The enquiry arrives on Saturday, the spreadsheet opens on Monday, the quote goes out on Wednesday, and the customer bought elsewhere on Tuesday. The pricing knowledge is real, but it lives in one head and one spreadsheet, so it queues.
What we do about it
We take the costing rules out of the spreadsheet and put them in code: the components, the margins, the staffing, the delivery, the tax. A customer configures what they want on a public page and watches the price move as they change it. The arithmetic is computed, never estimated by a model, so the price on the screen is one you can honour. What arrives in your inbox is a designed, priced job attached to a name.
Typical engagement. Four to eight weeks depending on how much of the pricing lives in heads rather than rules, then a monthly line as products and prices change.
Where this already runs
Built for a long-established catering business: a public menu builder prices 1,312 dishes live using the business's real function-sheet maths, including staffing, transport and VAT. The rules came out of thirty years of paperwork we had already turned into a database. Enquiries now arrive designed and priced instead of as a phone call that starts from zero.
Most builds of this shape start with the two-week assessment: we map the process as it runs today, cost it, and write the scope. The fee is credited in full against the build.

Concrete things, not outcomes on a slide. This list is the scope of the engagement.
- 1
A public configurator running your real costing rules, open at any hour
- 2
Every price computed in code, including the parts a spreadsheet hides: staffing, delivery, tax
- 3
The enquiry arriving as a designed, priced job attached to a contact
- 4
Your pricing rules in one place, editable by your team, instead of one person's spreadsheet
- 5
A floor under every price, so nothing can be configured below the margin you set
- 6
A record of what people price and abandon, which is the demand you are not meeting
A good fit when
- Quotes are assembled from parts by rules a spreadsheet could state
- Enquiries arrive outside hours and wait for a person
- The pricing knowledge lives with one or two people
The right starting point when
The pricing rules exist only in old quotes and paperwork. Document processing first: the archive becomes a database, and the real rules are read out of what you actually charged.
Every job is priced by judgement, not by rules. The two-week assessment writes the rules down first, from your own closed jobs, and tells you honestly how much of the pricing can be computed. The fee is credited in full against the build.
The quote goes out and then goes quiet. Follow-up automation chases every open quote at the interval you set, so the configurator's work is not wasted.
Not sure which of these is you? Describe the process and we will point you at the right one, on this page or another.
Price it before you commission it
Put the hours the task takes today, the salary of the person doing it and any quote you hold through the payback calculator. It shows the yearly saving, the payback period and the arithmetic behind both. Free, and nothing is stored.

Figures from our own systems that this service draws on. Each one names its source.
- 1,312
- prices a customer can quote themselves, at any hour
- 719
- documents from thirty years of trading, searchable in weeks
- 120+
- tables of business data you could export tomorrow
Every figure names its source. How we count. The investing system runs on a broker paper account, not real money.
